Once a month, one hour in direct sunlight. The UV purges what the charcoal has been holding. Place it back. That's it.

The Science, Simply
ADSORPTION,
NOT ABSORPTION.
Activated charcoal works through a process called adsorption, not absorption. The surface of each charcoal granule is covered in millions of microscopic pores that create an enormous internal surface area. As air moves around the bag, moisture molecules and odour-causing particles are drawn into those pores and held there.
It is completely passive. No fan, no filter, no electricity. The natural circulation of air in any enclosed space does all the work.
