What started as a dream has quickly become our lifestyle. We’ve always loved exploring, fishing, diving, and chasing adventure, but for a long time those experiences were squeezed into weekends or missed altogether thanks to the busyness of life on the Gold Coast. After years of Cam working as a mechanic and Michaela as a nurse, caught up in the hustle and grind, we decided to step away from the ordinary and dive into full-time travel. It felt like a natural shift for us, since camping, 4WDing, and the outdoors have always been such a big part of our lives.

Our first taste of life on the road came with our original home on wheels — a setup that gave us the freedom to explore but also showed us how much we craved something bigger, tougher, and built for the kind of adventures we love. That’s how the Unimog came into our lives. It has become both our biggest project and our greatest adventure, transforming into the home that we now travel around Australia in.

Today, with Oakley (our pup) by our side, we’re travelling around Australia chasing remote tracks, hidden fishing spots, and those magical little moments you only find when you’re far away from the big cities. Along the way, we’ve also been lucky enough to turn our passion into a small income — sharing our adventures, stories, and experiences through our socials, and creating content that connects us with people who share the same love for travel and the outdoors.

For us, this journey is about more than just travel. It’s about freedom, living on our own terms, keeping traditions alive, and creating new ones along the way.
